Starred Review In KIRKUS !
Orange Regional Medical Center was voted The Most Beautiful Hospital In America 2017! My mural was cited as enough reason the earn that honor! I'm so glad everyone who sees it, loves it!
Junior Library Guild Award
Did you know that the world famous illustrator Norman Rockwell was born in NewYork City?
When I learned of the students' efforts at West Side High School to have the street where Norman Rockwell was born renamed in his honor, I immediately contacted them and gave them my support. They were kind enough to invite me and representatives of the Norman Rockwell Museum to the dedication...a great event.
I recently illustrated "The Boy Who Touched The Stars" by
José M. Hernández and it has already won many accolades. This is a truly inspirational story for young and old alike. A lot of research was involved but as always, I loved learning some new things and sharing my pictures with readers.

The Most Beautiful Hospital In America!
It's always great to have my hard work recognized by great reviews! Of course, as long as young readers like it. that's the best review of all. Thank you Kirkus Reviews!
I've been included in the new Illustration History website created by The Norman Rockwell Museum. The site is a resource for past and present working illustrators who have made significant contributions to the art form. After creating art for over 70 books during my 30+ year career, it's an honor to be included along with many of my illustration contemporaries and idols. Visit my page on the site at:
